Compile PHP5 with MSSQL?

I've looked at the installer scripts on the wiki... How would I install with the MS-SQL extension?

I have a class project that I want to link to a Microsoft SQL server running on my home computer. I could just compile it on my home computer but I would rather have the reliability of dreamhost.

Does anyone know how to modify those php install scripts to have the MSSQL plugin/extension?
