Support tickets and thank yous....

OK wasn't sure where to put this.... but figured this is a good place to go to a) not get in the way of more important help topics b) not get spammed to death by idiots wanting to diss DH.....

...anyway I can never figure out what the best way to deal with ending support tickets..... I like to let the DH staff know that a) everything is now working again and b) that I appreciate the work they did..... but I can't help but think that by sending a response via email to their email I'm kind of adding to their work load....

....so what do people think... is it ok to reply back to say something like "yes its all working fine now thanks for all your help"? even though it now takes up a space on the queue and thus adds a little bit more work for them.... or is it better to just leave it as is and do nothing?

I just think they must get so much abuse from the idiots that it must be nice every now and then to receive an email saying thanks...

Just let it drop wink

There's a switch somewhere within the Support system to post a friendly hello/thumbs up - although the responses do appear to come back from the Support staff so that probably adds to the queue as well.
