Does the flash video really "stream"?

In the wiki post it reffer's to DH's flash video player as streaming. But does it actually STREAM the video? I guess it doesn't really matter to me at this point, but I'm just curious.

I haven't really looked it over, but it should be progressive download. Some may consider that as streaming, but really streaming requires a flash server and DH does not have one. Though it would be nice.

I wouldn't call it streaming because I have a little different thought of what streaming is than most.

The DH flash video player is just like Youtube.com.

The video is downloaded as it is played...although it can't be configured for "live streaming"

I thought YouTube developed their own flash streaming program. Isn't that what makes them special?
