Help with flash content

I have recently just finished my portfolio site to show case examples of my work only to find out that I can't upload some files to my web ftp "files are too large to upload". I have found a round about way to go pass this with my interactive flash content by using a alternate host ucoz which is a free hosting network but limited in what you can do, does not support php. My problem is uploading my interactive video player. I have compressed the footage down to flv files in flash but they are still too big and I prefer to use my own costume player that I have made in flash "which works just can't get it to link to the flv content". I have also uploaded the same files to my ftp successfully in hopes I can link the video content to the ftp url. This seems to work but you are prompted to give the ftp user name and password. Is there any way to host large flash based files using dreamhost?
Here is the link to my site if you want to see what I am talking about, hopefully it will help. http://www.smsdesignstudios.com/
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
