Increasing upload_max_filesize and post_max_size?

Hi

Please help, I need to increase these two settings in php.ini to enable files much larger than 7 and 8 MEG to be uploaded to my site and converted to flv videos.
Dreamhost has said they cant do it as its a global setting but they have said that there may be some work arounds that other people may know of.
Please help me out guys!

You'll need to setup your own PHP environment so you can edit a localised php.ini file.

Dang, I can't get this to work! You would think that support could do this for you.

If you're not installing ffmpeg-releated scripts like Konsort, etc. you won't need to compile PHP. If you're simply wanting to enable larger upload sizes via PHP then the ini workaround is all that's required.
