Can anyone recommend a reasonable merchant account?
I want to use it for my web business, as well as, to sell merchandise on another domain. I am considering Humboldt Bank with AuthorizeNet.

try payquake. I just applied. the fees are reasonable. I don't know about the service.

Let me know if you want me to keep you updated about the process.

I ended up going with Humboldt Bank.

I called PayQuake, but the receptionist was such a
witch (with a capitol B) I decided against using them. It was kind of funny when the (uninformed) sales guy called (almost a week later) . ;->

I also looked at Echo's offering which allows you to use the OScommerce shopping cart (hacked to their specs).

I decided against Echo after talking with a few users.
The biggest complaint I heard, was that Echo doesn't send the money to your bank. You have to use their "bank" service to withdraw the funds, and it takes forever.

Let me know how payquake goes. The price is sure good.

How interesting... Humboldt Bank is one of my local banks. Although I haven't used their merchant services, their physical branches have some of the best service I've dealt with.

I've been looking into these things as well, so I (and I'm sure others) would appreciate an update on how it goes.
