It's a nice app, but I doubt they'd offer it as a One-Click 'cause it's a resource monster.

Yes! on all sites I have done with magento, for example www.ecaldaie.com the default site was about 14.000 files, growing up easily to 50.000 with updates, it is not so easy also to customize then for the big number of files, and easily developers get lost.

I think that dreamhost does better than other hosting companies in that it at least provides some great one-clicks. With Zen Cart being the only ecommerce shopping cart 1-click, I can see why you're frustrated. Are you aggressively looking for an ecommerce solution right now? If so, what is your budget? There are some great affordable options out there.

I have magento running on my PS and it is very fast. There is way too much configuration to do for a simple one click, plus it is good to install it as the learning curve is pretty steep and any it requires a lot of upkeep. To see how fast it can be check out my shop at lividshop.com
