I manage my domain records at another nameserver. I would like to create CNAME records that point to the apps. What are the URL in dreamhost to do so?

A CNAME isn't going to work, as the DreamHost server won't respond to that CNAME. CNAMEs needs to be set at both ends; one in DNS, and one in Apache. You would have to set up a Redirect.
