WordPress change to manual install?

WordPress change to manual install?

I like the one-click blog I have set up with DH, but would like to add a poll. I understand that if I had done a manual install, I could have had more flexibility.
How can I get there from here.
Do I have to delete the current blog, with posts & comments & lose them, just to be able to add a couple of simple things?
I will appreciate a little walk-thru before I start trying things, being the newbie at this that I am.

Nope! There's a bit of a trick involved -- if you delete an easy one-click install, its database will magically appear in the MySQL section of your panel. Once you've got the database name, username, and password, you can configure a new Wordpress install to use it. It's a little weird, but we plan on simplifying the process at some point.

If you want some help with the switchover, write in to Support and we'll be happy to help you out.

Wow, that's sure neat! I always thought that one could never get access to an Easy database. Does the same go for *all* Easy One-Clicks? The topic has come up before.

Yep, deleting any easy one-click will make the database appear. However, files uploaded to the Easy One-Click aren't transferred, so you'll still need to ask Support if you need access to those.

It is done! I had to get support to finish it up, but I am now back online with WP 2.8.4 and access to lots of goodies.
Thanks everyone & thank you to DH support. Quick, thorough and helpful!
