Cannot use Drupal

I got a free new account at Dreamhost mainly to test drive Drupal before considering upgrading to paid hosting to run Drupal sites.

I am concerned that Drupal does not work while all the other Apps on offer such as MediaWiki works. I am looking for a hosting provider who has a Drupal "competence & experience" to install Drupal and support Drupal sites.

The Drupal app gives the following message.
# It doesn't seem like roshan.dreamhosters.com has been set up for drupal.dreamhost.com?
# If it should be, and the install was started more than an hour ago, you may want to try deleting and re-installing the app

Do I have to take the risk of deleting and re-installing.
If it did not get installed right the first time then will it make a difference as the re-install will probably use the same scripts?

There's always a chance something will go wrong whether the task is handled manually or automated. Also since DreamHost is saying that if something goes wrong, try again - that basically answers your question - DreamHost is telling you they expect that something different might happen next time and the install will be successful.

Also keep in mind the automated process doesn't get eveything done instantly. I think the reason you are seeing that messages is because the web server configuration hasn't been updated yet. It usually takes less than an hour for that to happen.

I'm sorry! It appears that your install was setup while we were having issues with apps installed to 'www' subdomains. If you uninstall, and reinstall the app, it should work correctly this time! You can see that this install actually worked, just on an odd domain if you go to http://www.www.roshan.dreamhosters.com/
