Thank you so much for the invite for free hosting.
After the install, DNS rerouting and setup...
Going to the domain I discover this message:

# It doesn't seem like my_domain.com has been set up for phpbb.dreamhost.com?

If I delete or restore the app the same message appears.

Seems like this photo program did not install all the way either.
Error message:
#It doesn't seem like photos.my_domain.com has been set up for zenphoto.dreamhost.com?

Wordpress loads and mediawiki loads also.
The phpBB error message is like a fatal error in that site/domain/home does not work at all and takes out Drupal with it.

This is for the Top10Affiliates.com domain.

Additionally,
Zenphoto and Drupal show that they are INSTALLING in the DreamHostApps control panel....

Many have reported very similar problems so I betcha they're working on it




How To Install PHP.INI / ionCube on DreamHost

Do remember that it's in beta - meaning not ready for the real world.

My phpbb shows that it has installed fine, but when I go to it, it shows the following error:

Fatal error: ./cache/forum.clone.dreamhosters.com/ is NOT writable. in /usr/local/ndn/web/oneclicks/phpbb/includes/acm/acm_file.php on line 108

When I deleted the phpbb forum, all seemed to go well, except that it appears in my recycle bin twice.


As for zenphoto and drupal, they are sitting at 2/3 through the install and will not finish. Going to them gives an error. I also cannot delete them.

I guess the question remains:
Now what? Do we just wait?

Also for Google apps if I click manage I get this:
This domain has already been registered with Google Apps. Please contact your domain administrator for instructions on using Google Apps with this domain.

Confirming above situations/issues.

 •Installation of Drupal and Zenphoto are "stuck" at 2/3.
 •When attempting to access my site, the same messages occur:
   Drupal: "It doesn't seem like xxxxxxxxx.com has been set up for phpbb.dreamhost.com?"
   Zenphoto: "It doesn't seem like photos.xxxxxxxxx.com has been set up for zenphoto.dreamhost.com?"
•Can not delete or restore Drupal or Zenphoto
•When trying to manage the google apps
   "This domain has already been registered with Google Apps..."

On a positive note, phpBB (forum.xxxxxxx.com), wordpress (blog.xxxxxxx.com), and wiki (wiki.xxxxxxx.com) all seem to work fine.

What does this mean?
Does this imply all is well no changes needed on our side?
...or
We need to do something like delete Drupal and add it in again or other?

To everyone with installs problems during the weekend and early monday PST...There were some problems with the service that actual setups the apps. This issue has been fixed and everyone that had apps that didn't install right away should see things working now. We have put things in place for this to not happen again. Thanks to everyone for reporting any problems with beta!

People experiencing mysql problems with their apps shouldn't have problems anymore.

If you had installs that were 2/3 completed for a long period of time, those should be finished now. We fixed that issue on Monday as it was a bug that was hanging around during the weekend.

If you are still experiencing issues with the app giving a blank screen and an error, something else probably happened. PM me your domain on the account I can look further into it for you! :)

I would also like to mention that we will be releasing a feature later this evening that will allow you to force deleting an app so you can retry again if it for some reason fails.

Address Not Found
Firefox can't find the server at www.top10affiliates.com.

This is worse than getting error. ; )

Fixed...I just went into the panel and put www for the prefix and selected drupal and it works fine now.
