I am considering creating myself a subversion web repository for my stuff.
If I want to create a subversion repository, does the place it takes count in the size of the account? Or is there a separate limit for the subversion repository size?

The Subversion repository is created within your home directory. The size is therefore included the the main account disk space limit.

It's included in the total. Don't forget that you get an increase in your storage limits each week. It depends on what plan you are on, but they all go up each week once you sign up.
