Hi, I'm considering DreamHost and need to know about cron jobs. I'm running a webmail program that needs to run a cron job once ever two minutes. Will there be any problems with that?

Shouldn't be any problems with that, provided the cron job doesn't take up an inordinate amount of system resources.

Thanks Will. I think I'll go ahead and switch to DreamHosts, but just one more thing: IF you find that the cron job does take too much system resources (and I think that's unlikely), will I be contacted BEFORE my site is deactivated?

Your site won't be deactivated. It's possible that we'd disable the cron job, or kill any runaway processes, depending on the extent of the resource usage.
Most likely, this will not be unnecessary.
