advice on using Wordpress and DreamHost

I'm looking for a simple website that I can use to have an ebook (or several) downloaded. I'll use Paypal for payment of the ebook. Has anyone done this using Wordpress and DreamHost?

I have a couple of online stores, one of which is doing pretty well, but downloading things for sale is totally new so I felt I better ask if this is a good way to go. The price is certainly right (a big factor).

The hard part is stopping people from freeloading. WordPress on its own doesn't have a way to prevent this. However, it can act as a gateway to Files Forever:

Wow! I didn't know that existed. That might be just the ticket. I don't think I ever would have found Files Forever on my own. Thanks.
