Beta junk filter doesn't seem to be enabled

I followed the link to the beta Junk mail and enabled the filter for one of my domains. I've checked over the past 2-3 days and nothing has changed when I check in to webmail2. I don't see a message that Junk was filtered or see anything marked as Spam from SpamAssassin in any subfolder.

I did have Razor filter enabled before so I disabled all the old filters... same thing. Any idea?

It means you're not getting any spam. If you don't get a message in webmail2 saying you don't have preferences yet, then everything's set up.

If you look at the full headers for any mail delivered to your INBOX you'll see header entries from the scanner showing you the email's score.

I checked and the headers do not hae any score or tags. I changed the SA settings to tag level 3 and have received a few obvious spam and nothing has changed.

Check the following x-headers

X-DH-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new-20030616-p7 (Debian) at enforcer
X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-4.5 tagged_above=-999.0 required=3.0 tests=BAYES_00,
HTML_MESSAGE, MIME_HTML_ONLY
X-Spam-Level:

If your email does not have them then it is not getting spam filtered.

I'm not getting any of these x-headers when I look at full headers so it looks like mail isn't being filtered. The filter setting under Junk mail says that the domain is being filtered though.

Ok then I suggest you might want to open a support call on this.. Mark it as part of the beta testing so the support team will forward it on..

You do your own DNS, so the Web Panel can't change your MX records.

If you want that mail filtered, change your MX record to point to enforcer.dreamhost.com

Doh... yup, that would do it. Getting x-headers now on some test email.

Thanks for the help!
