'Less spam..

I don't know whats been tweaked, but for a while there I was getting a handful of spam through this test.

I don't know if anything's been changed, or God finally smited the spammer dead who was sending me stuff, but thinks seem to be doing really good.


(I have the settings at 'default' at the moment. 999/4).

I wish I could say the same, over the last three days I received more spam that I have since I joined the Beta Spam Program..

Unfortunately due to an outstanding bug it is not possible for me to change any of my spam settings..

Hoping that DH will fix the SPAM beta plugin SQL issue soon.

Like bfaber, I have been getting hardly any spam lately as well. Perhaps it's because I turned off my "catchall" address about a week ago. Still, it's a welcome change.

That's usually a huge, huge help (ditching the catchall). And is another reason why we're not going to allow catchalls to use this spam scanner. Otherwise the volume is just way too high.

One guy in the test is getting about 4,000 spams a week to his catch-all. That's just crazy.

Me too. The amount of spam getting through to my mailbox has been reduced by more than 90%!! (guesstimate) Even my parents have noticed the decline to their mailboxes.

I was using client-side spam filters as well (Mozilla) to catch the rest, but lately there's been practically nothing left for it to filter. Yay for the new DH filtering!
