Moving from another server to Dreamhost

Hi there,
I have a website at netfirms and i was wondering how to migrate to Dreamhost..
I already have an account here at Dreamhost..
Any ideas of the procedures?

Well i have phpbb forum..
A guestbook.
Email accounts.
Online purchasing with Asecurecart.
I dont have wordpress.
The problems im having constantly are the "server down" and slow service. I was trying a test site over here and it worked great..
Now im reading the wiki "transfer your site to us" topic.

By the way on the whois at internic.net i got this:

Status: clientTransferProhibited
Status: clientUpdateProhibited
Status: clientDeleteProhibited

What does it mean ?

It means that your DNS registration is locked. This is a good thing to prevent someone from transferring you without your approval. You'll need to get it unlocked if you want to transfer the DNS registration to DH.

(It's not necessary to transfer it, you can just point the registration to DH's nameservers when you are ready to start using hosting at Dreamhost). We'll show you more information on that when you're ready.
