i want to know is it ffmpeg feature already installed on my host
the wiki says http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/FFmpeg i dont need to follow that instruction again
how do i know my host already support ffmpeg or not?

I understand it's supposed to be installed on all servers already.
It's on mine.

Assuming that you are talking about your DreamHost server, just log in to the shell and, from the command line prompt, type:
which ffmpeg
..followed by the "enter" key. If ffmpeg is installed on your server, you will get a response, showing you the path to ffmpeg, such as:
/usr/bin/ffmpeg
...which is where is "should be" on all DreamHost servers.
