I'm interested in putting a few ads on my pages. I don't expect to make loads of money this way. I'm more curious as to how much I will make. Do you guys know of any reputable ad services? I read somewhere that it isn't a good idea to only have one ad provider. I'm going to try Google Adsense but I need one or two other services that I can count on.

A lot depends on the kind of site you have. I kind of think that adsense is decent if you have general content and can't find more specific advertising networks.
For example, if you publish book reviews, you should put up some affiliate marketing links for bookstores. If you publish computer hardware reviews, you should cut deals with online retailers.
Check out other sites that are similar to yours and listen to the advice of the other folks here.
