transfering email history from another web host

I am planning to transfer my domain from another web hosting service to dreamhost, however, I wish to keep my previous 5 years of email history. Is it possible to transfer them to dreamhost?

It is probably possible, depending on what type of storage your previous email is in, and how you want to access the old email. DreamHost uses Maildir format.
