Hey guys
I have uploaded the database from my old host to dreamhost for my Joomla site, Is it better to do a fresh install of Joomla on the dreamhost site and then use the database to change it to how it was set up on my old host?

What version of Joomla! were you using on your old host? If the versions are the same (DH is running version 1.0.12, which is the latest), then I can't see that it makes any difference - which ever way seems easier for you is what I would do!
