I have uploaded my website that was previously being hosted at another site.
I have specified the web directory.
But I get an error message, Server Not Found!
why would this happen? any ideas?

The only thing we can guess is that dns hasn't propagated yet. It can take up to three days for the dns entries to get up to the root servers and back down to all the clients.
There are ways to see it early, but it might already be working by the time you successfully set it up so it might be best to just wait it out.
It can sometimes get working in a few hours.
