understand dreamhost web stats

Hey guys,
I"m still adjusting to the dreamhost panel. I used to use cpanel and I could easily tell how many hits and unique visitors I had on my site through the web stats. but I can't seem to see that on my dreamhost web stats panel. Maybe different terms are used here. Is that the same as requests and pages? I really need to know how many hits a day I am getting versus unique visitors. Would appreciate some help here. Thanks!

The analog stats data only shows overall hits. It doesn't break down unique visits. For that you may want to install awstats onto your web space. There is info on the DH wiki about it as well as several threads in the forum.
