Automate WordPress Backups?

Hi,

I'd like to setup a cron job to automate wordpress backups, but when I go here:

http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/Cron

it may as well be in Greek. has anyone done it with the Dreamhost cron system? There are instructions on the web that don't look to hard but they are for a regular Cpanel.

Any help would be really appreciated,
