phpbb upgrade

if I upgraded phpbb using the oen click upgrade are my settings (sql url, password) imported into the new phpbb version? I realize that templates and mods are not.

In the root folder of your forum is a config.php file. Copy that file to your own computer for a backup, then you don't have to worry.
But normally you don't have to worry about this file being changed. But as they say, backup before updating is the safest thing to do.
