I have a website (http://wedding.luckleberry.com) that my prospective mother-in-law now wants me to password-protect.

I searched around, but I'm not quite sure how to do that.

The Goodies/ HTAccess thing seems to make specific directories private.

I need to make it so that anyone who goes to http://wedding.luckleberry.com has to type in a password.

Please advise (preferably in very simple terms!)

Yeppers, you want to add htaccess. just use that form in the panel, select your sub-domain and don't type in any directory in the box. That should do it for you.
