My old host had WHM... but is there any way to limit *both* space and bandwidth per domain, or even subdomain.

ie domain1.com limited to 1000mb, 1gb bandwidth out of the available ?

You can limit the space of the domain by setting a limit on the user the domain is running on. You can also limit the bandwidth via the bandwidth panel under throttling.

Is a complete limit although, ie 1gb for a month and then it cuts off?

Not entirely sure what your question is.

The storage limit is solid. The bandwidth is a per-month limit. Eg, 1GB/mo. What it does is change the root of the web site. It basically puts up another site, and you can have it be whatever you want, like a static page.
