Is it possible to access my webroot through SSH. So far I have only been able to access my web files through my FTP client. At times I would like a little more power to manipulate my directories and files within a command prompt. I have logged into the server but I have not been able to locate the webroot. Thanks in advance.

If you have logged in with SSH client —like the Terminal on a Mac— you should get prompted for a command so type ls and return and this will give you a list of directories in your home/ folder. Then type CD yourdomain.com —from the list —this will put you in the webroot folder.
