I'm trying to create a crontab entry for webalizer, http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/Webalizer
The knowledge base said to use another editor than vi, so I used nano
I entered my job
Saved the file, and got this result
crontab: installing new crontab
crontabs/tmp.Ctjzjx: Permission denied
crontab: edits left in /tmp/crontab.qed04B/crontab
the webalizer binary has execute permissions for everyone. Am I missing some step?

That looks like a misconfiguration on the server and our support team will have to assist you.

I'm getting a similiar error when tyring to install a crontab for Awstats (on a third domain):
crontab: installing new crontab
"/tmp/crontab.A2NgQG/crontab":1: bad minute
errors in crontab file, can't install
syntax begins with: "30 1 * * *"
Is this a support issue?

That looks like an error with your crontab. It says 'errors in crontab file'.
