Unable to change directory owner ??

I am currently on the very steep part of the learning curve, so please be gentle... ;)

I have recently been somewhat successful in setting up a website using the Mambo CMS and whilst installing and uninstalling components, I managed to somehow change the ownership of one of my directories to "dhapache" (presumably some sort of server default). I ,of course, now cannot change the permissions of that particular directory, which is a pain, as it was one I was using to house user uploads (via the web-engine). I have tried to change permissions via FTP and via the mambo config properties, but I simply cannot figure it out.

How can I re-claim ownership of my directory ?

I recommend that you ask tech support for help, they can check the permission of a folder and change it if necessary.
