plz help

hi guyz,
when i open my webpage i get index rather than my homepage...My directory is viewed on d homepage...and when i upload .html files it adds to the directory...what should i do now?? i wanna view my hompage which i created rather than viewing directory.plz help..

Make sure you uploaded your files to the example.com directory of your FTP user. Your main page should be named index.html
