Hi I have a domain that is hoste on DreamHost but registered elsewhere. I would now like to register it through DreamHost (its Cheaper!) Is there is a list of steps somewhere? How can I do this with least disruption & of course not losing data.

If it's already hosted here, you won't lose any data, as DNS won't change. You should already be using ns1.dreamhost.com, etc. at your current registrar.

The site is already hosted here, so there will be no downtime.
