If you have the funds Camtasia has a plugin for powerpoint so you can generate an video from your presentation. Camtasia supports avi, mov, swf, animated gif, plus a few others. The price is or was over $300 but haven't checked on price in awhile.

I'm not much of a PowerPoint user, but Keynote on the Mac allows for export to a Quicktime movie, complete with click to advance. I don't know what Export options PowerPoint has.
