hiya,
I registered a dot fr domain name for the business I am setting up in France and I bought a Dreamhost package to host it.
Now I've changed my mind about the name of my business.
Can I transfer my Dreamhost package to the new domain name or do I have to pay for a package I will not use, and buy a new one?

You're ok.

The hosting package lets you host as many domains as you want. As soon as you're ready, you can go to the panel for Domains -> Manage Domains and add your new domain.

You can do this as many times for as many domains that you have.
