I currently have a website uploaded to Dreamhost's FTP server, but I haven't redirected my older domain name yet. Is there a way I can view this site outside of FTP to test if it works before redirecting my domain name?
I've tried viewing my site through FTP, but that doesn't process the PHP commands within the files.Edited by jsadler on 02/06/09 01:18 PM (server time).

You will need to mirror the domain.

Is there a URL on the nameserver where I can visit the site?
Surely, to mirror the domain, the subdomain would have to point to DreamHost's nameservers, but how does the nameserver know which site to display?
If not, the wiki mentions creating a dreamhosters.com subdomain to mirror the site. How can I go about doing that?
