deleting a domain

deleting a domain

Hi everyone--

I was playing around with adding domains. When I wanted to delete them, I succeeded in deleting the domain through the DreamHost panel, and I removed the web folders and files through the terminal. But how do I remove the log files for the domain I want gone? I don't have permissions to write to the log directory.

Thanks! (and sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.)

You can't. Just pretend they're not there. I know, it's bothersome. I have a bunch, some of which were just dumb mistakes on my part. Years later, they're still there. I guess if they *really* bother you, you can ask Support if they'll delete them for you.

I doubt support will do that. frown That defeats the purpose of log files.
