Email quota

Hi everyone!

I'm setting up phpList on my domain and trying to use gmail SMTP to send the messages, and my question is: If I use gmail's SMTP server (or any other external server) the messages sent affect my hourly email quota?

No. You're not even touching DreamHost's mail servers. DreamHost won't even know how many messages you're sending. It's whatever Gmail has in effect.
