Help! Made changes to page, now page is gone!

Hi everyone!
So this is my first hour on dreamhost. Yow! I signed up for wordpress. i made my first entry. i did not want my blog to be at an address with "blog" in the entry (the default), so I changed it, and now am I sorry I did, because I can no longer see my blog.
my default blog name was: http://blog.organizationquest.com
I tried to rename it as: http://organizationquest.com

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Exactly what method did you use to change it?

Also, how much work have you put into it so far? It might be easiest to install a new blog (after getting that one post out of the old one).
