Email address

Im confused about email.
I have a wordpress blog set up.
I would like to be able to send email so that the senders address is my domain name. myemail@mydomainnaem.com.

So do i need set up Gmail or ??
what are the benefits of Gmail vs the Dreamhost service?

or should i be asking the Q in the wordpress forum?

WordPress lets you set the return address in the Admin section under General Settings.

Have you already set up an email address for your domain in the DreamHost panel?

thanks for the reply. I think im ok. I've set up dreamhost to handle my emails and that seems straightforward. And yes all notification of comments on my wordpress blog are being sent to the email address that is entered in my Admin section.

So, i apologise for the bandwidth. I confuse easily!
