How to Create Login/Password For A Page

I created a website using Wordpress and will be setting up a "subscribers only" section of the website. So, I am looking for a way to have users provide a username/password to enter this section of the site. Is there anything within Dreamhost to do this or any other recommendations?

Much Thanks!

You can password protect the directory:

If you're doing everything in Wordpress, you might want to take a look through the available plugins. I haven't had a need to use it personally, but the Post Levels plugin looks like it might be on the right track.

The absolute *easiest* way to do this is to just password protect the posts you want to be available to members only. It is a "built-in" capability of WordPress to password protect ant post you wish. wink

They don't need a "username" at all to do this - just a password.
