Typo

So, I am new to all this. I followed every instruction to the T on Power and Light site, AND i even installed my own ruby and gems on my account. and Ive got nothing. IF you go to my blog is just shows an index of my public folder. if i typo "typo start" i get
"/home/xxxxxxx/.gems/bin/typo:9:in `require': no such file to load -- rubygems (LoadError)
from /home/lckennedy/.gems/bin/typo:9"
Ive probably done something wrong along the way...but i followed all instructions...
