Hey,
I've been looking at the teamspeak-server software, and I was curious what would happen if I uploaded the source to my account, and used shell to activate the binary.
Would I actually be allowed or even have the ability to do this?

Persistent servers aren't allowed on our normal shared hosting accounts. Listening to ports is also banned on normal shared server accounts.
There is the potential for being able to run these two things on a new account type that is in limited release as referred to in this other thread, but we don't have any reports from anyone using it yet.
I have an account with another shared host who does allow Teamspeak, but I haven't devoted the time to get it working again. If you want details, feel free to PM me.
