PHPwebsite

Hey...

Anyone successfully installed PHPwebsite?

I've been having trouble getting past the setup program (so many odd errors I feel it would be confusing to start off by listing them). If anyone got through it, please post so we can discuss how you did it.

Just a stab in the dark -- when I get hammered with lots of errors during or just after an install of something, almost always I've forgotten to set php to run as php-cgi. Create an .htaccess file in the script directory with the line::

AddType php-cgi php

I installed version 0.9.3 ok in July.

I've got that in the htaccess at the top of my subdomain, but there's an empty htaccess in the phpwebsite directory; anybody know what does an empty htaccess do, and does that mean it's then running as php-cgi, or not?

Otherwise, did you try searching the forum for phpwebsite to see if there are already posts with errors similar to yours?
