ffmpeg installation error

Hi,

I am installing ffmpeg for youtube clone script brought from http://www.vshare.in

I am getting following error while installing ffmpeg

[shocktart]$ /home/emailreels/bin/ffmpeg
/home/emailreels/bin/ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: libavformat.so.51: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[shocktart]$

Installation worked well as per http://wiki.dreamhost.com/FFmpeg

How do i fix the error ?

netbrix, i followed your instructions, but getting above error. Do you know how to fix the error ?

you need to place a call to export LD_LIBRARY_PATH ahead of any ffmpeg call.
