drupal 5.1 and module mailman manager

DH has mailman installed. It serves as the mailing list manager.
Drupal 5.1 has a "mailman manager" module that purports to manage mailman. Alas, the documentation is sparse.
Now the question is:
Can I make Drupal's Mailman Manager work with DH's implementation of mailman, or had DH done something that would prohibit it?
