WikiCalc

Blessings and Peace:

Anyone successfully installed WikiCalc?(http://www.softwaregarden.com/wkcalpha/ )

Since a cgi-bin is not necessary on DH, I simply
created a wikicalc directory and placed all the
files therein. When calling the URL http://www.rafikicai.com/wikicalc/wikicalccgi.pl ,
I get an error message.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

What is the error message saying please? That may or may not help the experts on the forum diagnose your problem.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

First check the .pl file has permissions of 755.

If you uploaded the files by FTP then sometimes a perl file will need some modification. Log in via SSH and open the .pl file in pico. Add a space at the end to ensure the file is modified then save it. Re-open the file and remove the space/character you entered and resave the file. You can add the extra space at the top of the file as long as you remove it afterwards. Re-check the permissions are 755 and see if that helps.
