AWstats - process killed

Hello,

I set up awstats a few days ago and it was successfully doing it's thing, however wasn't working via crontab due to a typo.

When I try to run it now via ssh, this is reported back

Build main page: "/home/mydir/awstats/cgi-bin/awstats.pl" -config=mysite.com -staticlinks -output

Killed

I ran it with perl awstats.pl -config=mysite.com -update

it gets to here:

Phase 2 : Now process new records (Flush history on disk after 20000 hosts)...

Killed.

I have no idea why this process is getting killed, or erroring. Google hasn't proven much help.

Ideas??

Could you be running into the dreaded persistent process killer, mentioned here in the wiki?

About how long does it crank before getting killed?

20,000 hosts sounds like a lot. Not that familiar with Awstats, but is there a way you could try smaller size bites of history?

Good luck,

BobS
