Gallery install hangs at step 2

I have tried using the one click install, as well as the latest version (2.1 final) from the Gallery website.

When I go thru the install, it always hangs on step 2. As soon as I click Continue to step 2, it just sits there chugging along.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the Gallery forums? I just upgraded my 2.0.4 gallery install to 2.1 with no problems.

I am having the exact same problem. Anyone?

It does mention a long delay when using step 2 and I certainly get sent for a long wait. Have you given it plenty of time to work out. Something like up to 15 minutes perhaps?
