Problem with RoundCube webmail

I'm trying to send mail from my dreamhost mail account, but it doesn't let me. I left the SMTP outgoing mail thingy blank so it would use the mail() function, but it still doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to make it work?

You can't use the PHP mail() function. You need to use your SMTP info with your authentication credentials (user/pass).
