phpBB and Themes

I have tried to put 4 different themes on my board and even had an Admin from a different site also try. (They also use phpBB)
But once installed to the server it will not show up for me to add in the Admin Cp....The other Admin is very good and has alot of different themes on her site so its being done correctly. Does Dreamhost has to be set up a certain way for me to add these themes....Im running out of options here..
